Since 2016, VAB has served our clients with superior, creative, cost-effective, and practical legal services. And we have done this by investing in our people. Susan Valentine, Aurora Austriaco, and Lydia Bueschel manage VAB with a collaborative and supportive leadership style, encouraging different perspectives. We strive for diverse approaches to solving our clients’ problems, and we don’t assume that a view from the top is always the clearest and most informed.
We believe that a law firm can meet the needs of its clients and its staff – that performing exceptionally good work for clients, and doing that work while treating others exceptionally well, are not mutually exclusive. VAB’s internal operations are premised on sustainability, not just in the traditional sense, but on the sustainability of each team member’s energy and capacity. VAB’s mission is to ensure that our people have the support they need: our colleagues cannot perform their best work for our clients if they are operating under unsustainable conditions.
